This is my first jet ski I've owned and I bought it used with about 120 hours on it. So far I have put 20 hours on with absolutely no problems.
The top speed is about 56/57 mph. on flat water and most of my skiing is on lakes. The ski handles well but at idle speed with three riders it does feel more unstable than other models I've driven. It's not a big deal and just be aware of it.
It has no problem towing a 2-3 person tube or skier. I've had two adults on while towing two adults on a tube but find the best performance when towing two single tubes.
When I first bought it I did the oil change myself with no problems and I bought a spare set of plugs off of ebay which saved me big $$$.
No plugs have gone bad as of yet. It takes about 60L of 91 oct gas which gives me about four hours or riding time. Typically, this lasts me a weekend.
The front has a decent amount of storage enough for a small cooler or gym bag. For an '04 it looks great with the exception of some wear on the hull from going on/off the trailer bunkies.
